UIUC - tenure-track Assistant Professors in all areas of mechanical science and engineering

Applications are sought for appointments of full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professors, with research interests in all areas of mechanical science and engineering. Senior-level appointments will be considered for persons of outstanding achievement. Successful candidates are expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels; establish and maintain an active, independent research program; and serve the mechanical engineering professions.

A doctoral degree is required, and salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. All applications received by January 20, 2006 will receive full consideration. Interviews may take place before the closing date; however, no decisions will be made until after that time. Proposed starting dates are August 2006 or January 2007.
